I have lived in Torrington for many years and been a Trustee for over 5 years taking on the role of Vice chair in 2020. My areas of expertise are Buildings maintenance issues plus Health & Safety compliance. My experience in these areas comes from being employed in the Youth Services sector for 20 years and working as a Carpenter for 25 years.
Looking after our superb listed building is a constant challenge -but a very rewarding one – and applying my skills means we can do a lot of work “in house” which helps us to contain costs.

I’ve only lived in Torrington just over a year – it’s an amazing place to live! I manage a live in care company and co-run Death Matters North Devon. I live with my husband and dog, who you might see sitting on the couch looking longingly out the window. Dog that is, not husband.
